This tube is ideal for piping large swirls, stars and shells on cupcakes and gateaux. Here we have shown two different effects piped with the same tube.

Cupcake with bow decoration - this swirl is easier to pipe on a slightly domed cupcake. Start on the outside and pipe inwards and upwards finsihing in the centre.

Rose cupcake with leaves - for this effect your cupcake must be completely flat (if domed slice excess cake off). Start piping in the middle of the cupcake and swirl outwards finishing around the rim. While piping, angle your piping tube slightly inwards towards the middle of the cupcake which gives the effect of petals overlapping.
