250g bag of Squires petal powder mix. This is a gelatine based flower paste which is used to create fine sugar flowers. It can be rolled out wafer thin and worked to the finest forms and details. Once mixed it can be frozen if well wrapped.

250g bag of Squires Pastillage Mix. This paste if easy to roll, cut and shape with excellent structural properties. It can be used to create models, churches, cards, shells etc. Can also be frozen once made up.

An ultra fine modelling paste in 200g packs. Perfect for all sorts of modelling especially plaques, cards and using with Patchwork Cutters as is less stretchy than flower paste.

For making modelling or petal paste: add 1 teaspoon gum trag to 250g Coverpaste icing & knead well. Wrap up well and place in an airtight container overnight. For strengthening royal icing: take a small amount of gum trag on the end of a knife - add to a small cup of royal icing & mix well. Perfect for sticking decorations together or onto cakes. Also used in the making of mexican paste.

For strengthening royal icing: take a small amount of gum trag on the end of a knife - add to a small cup of royal icing & mix well. Perfect for sticking decorations together or onto cakes. Also used in the making of mexican paste.

Pettinice Pastello can be used as a modelling paste. Used on its own,  you can make fairly chunky models like the snowman and  rose pictured here which will stay soft enough to eat .  For delicate flowers and models that you wish to set hard, add 1 level teaspoon of Gum Tragacanth to 250g Pettinice Pastello icing & knead well. Wrap up well and place in an airtight container overnight for use the next day.

Tylopur powder (also known as Tylose powder) is used in the making of modelling and flower pastes

Apply a little Petal Base to your work surface before rolling out flower paste to prevent clogging of cutters and an easy release. Weight: 50g

250g bag of Squires Mexican Paste Mix. This paste sets very hard so is excellent for modelling. When mixed 50-50 with sugarpaste it gives a good hard working but still pliable material.
