For making modelling or petal paste: add 1 teaspoon gum trag to 250g sugarpaste (preferably Pastello) & knead well. Place in airtight container or bag overnight. For strengthening royal icing: take a small amount of gum trag on the end of a knife - add to a small cup of royal icing & mix well. Perfect for sticking decorations together or onto cakes. Also used in the making of mexican paste.
